Harrison County has close to 300 commercial fishing boats and about 70 passenger vessels documented with the Coast Guard, and the Biloxi and Pass Christian harbors keep commercial slips at a lower rate than pleasure slips because the working fleet is that large. Most of those boats have a wheelhouse seat the captain has sat in for twelve hours a day for a decade, crew bunks with foam that gave up years ago, and on the charter side, a companion chair and cockpit cushions that paying customers judge the boat by. Retail shops fill their queue with weekend boats and the working fleet waits. We keep slots for it.

How fleet jobs are scheduled

Walk the boat at the dock with the captain. Every seat gets a line on the estimate with the vinyl grade and foam noted, and the vessel name and documentation number go on the sheet.
Pick the order. Wheelhouse first for most captains, then crew, then the pieces that can wait a season.
Pattern and pull the first batch between trips. The boat keeps fishing or running charters on the original seats for anything not in the batch.
Install on a lay day. Repeat for the next batch. Fleet rate applies across the whole invoice, whatever the staging.
